Understanding and Identifying Coercive Control
This interactive workshop supports young people to recognise and respond to coercive control in both intimate and peer relationships. Through discussion, case studies, and reflective activities, students will explore how power and control can show up through behaviours like guilt-tripping, isolation, manipulation, or pressure, even when there’s no physical violence.
The session builds skills in identifying unhealthy dynamics, setting boundaries, and fostering relationships grounded in respect, equality, and care.

Beyond Yes: Consent, Coercion & Ethical Encounters
Consent is more than just a yes or no. It’s about communication, care, and respect. In this interactive workshop, students will explore how power, pressure, social norms, and personal boundaries can all shape someone’s ability to freely consent.
We’ll go beyond the legal definitions to unpack what ethical, mutual, and meaningful experiences look and feel like. Through real-world scenarios and guided reflection, students will build the skills to recognise coercion, understand the difference between compliance and consent, and engage in safer, more respectful relationships with themselves and others.

Sexuality, Power, and Gender: Unpacking the messages
From social media to porn, young people are surrounded by messages about sex, power, and identity but not all of them reflect reality or support healthy relationships. This interactive workshop invites students to unpack where these messages come from, how they shape our beliefs and behaviours, and how we can challenge harmful norms.
Through open discussion, reflection, and engaging activities, we’ll explore the impact of gender roles, stereotypes, and power dynamics on sexuality and relationships. Students will also have the chance to explore diverse experiences and identities, and consider what respectful, inclusive and empowering sexuality looks like in their world.
