Understanding and Identifying Coercive Control
This interactive workshop supports young people to recognise and respond to coercive control in both intimate and peer relationships. Through discussion, case studies, and reflective activities, students will explore how power and control can show up through behaviours like guilt-tripping, isolation, manipulation, or pressure, even when there’s no physical violence.
The session builds skills in identifying unhealthy dynamics, setting boundaries, and fostering relationships grounded in respect, equality, and care.

Beyond Yes: Consent, Coercion & Ethical Encounters
This evidence-informed workshop takes a socio-affective approach to consent education, helping young people build the emotional, social, and communication skills that underpin ethical and respectful relationships.
Rather than focusing only on legal definitions, Beyond Yes explores how emotions, empathy, trust, and social dynamics influence our capacity to give, refuse, and interpret consent. Through interactive scenarios and reflection, students learn to recognise pressure and power imbalances, communicate boundaries with care, and understand what genuine, mutual consent feels like.
Participants leave with stronger emotional literacy and relational awareness - equipping them for safer, more connected experiences within and beyond intimate relationships.

Sexuality, Power, and Gender: Unpacking the messages
From social media to porn, young people are surrounded by messages about sex, power, and identity but not all of them reflect reality or support healthy relationships. This interactive workshop invites students to unpack where these messages come from, how they shape our beliefs and behaviours, and how we can challenge harmful norms.
Through open discussion, reflection, and engaging activities, we’ll explore the impact of gender roles, stereotypes, and power dynamics on sexuality and relationships. Students will also have the chance to explore diverse experiences and identities, and consider what respectful, inclusive and empowering sexuality looks like in their world.
